The third quarter of 2022 saw notable activity among the top entertainment apps on the Android platform in Oceania. Based on Sensor Tower data, here are the performance highlights for Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, Paramount+, 7plus, and Netflix.

Disney+ experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $447K in the final week of September. Weekly downloads varied, with a notable high of around 35K in mid-September. Active users fluctuated, starting at 1M in late June, dipping mid-quarter, and rising again to just under 1M by the end of September.

Amazon Prime Video saw modest weekly revenue, averaging around $1.6K throughout the quarter. Downloads showed a peak of roughly 21K at the end of August. Active user numbers remained fairly stable, hovering around the 210K mark, with a slight increase towards the end of September.

Paramount+ demonstrated a strong revenue performance, reaching up to $81K in late August. Weekly downloads were consistent, averaging around 14K. Active users showed a steady trend, starting at 61K and ending at approximately 62K by the end of the quarter.

7plus did not generate revenue but had significant download activity, peaking at around 26K in early August. Active users saw a notable increase from 54K in late June to a peak of 108K in early August, before settling at around 36K by the end of September.

Netflix had steady download numbers, averaging around 13K per week. Active users showed a slight decline from 1.8M in late June to 1.6M in early September, then rebounding to 1.7M by the end of the quarter.
