The second quarter of 2022 saw notable trends in the performance of the top 5 MMORPG apps on a unified platform in the United States. Data from Sensor Tower reveals insights into the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these popular applications.

Diablo Immortal by Blizzard Entertainment launched on June 1, 2022, and quickly made an impact. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $4.4M in the first full week post-launch, gradually declining to around $2.8M by the end of June. Weekly downloads started strong at over 3M during the launch week, then tapered off to around 161K. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 2.5M and decreasing to just over 1.1M by the end of the month.

Albion Online from Sandbox Interactive GmbH experienced modest revenue fluctuations, peaking at approximately $33.5K in mid-June. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, ranging between 11K to 17K, while active users hovered around 13K to 18K throughout the quarter.

MU ORIGIN 3 by FingerTips saw its weekly revenue peak at around $250K in mid-June, then slightly decreased to about $177K by the end of the month. Downloads showed a significant drop from around 69K in late May to about 9.4K by the end of June. Active users started at over 51K and declined to around 37K during the same period.

League of Angels: Chaos from YOOZOO (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. had a peak revenue of nearly $86K in early April, with a noticeable decline to around $15.8K by the end of June. Downloads dropped sharply from over 44K in early April to just 802 by the end of June. Active users saw a high of about 34.7K in mid-April, reducing to around 11K by the end of the quarter.

Fate of the Empress by Wish Interactive Technology Limited maintained a relatively stable revenue throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately $141K in early June and ending at around $103K. Downloads were consistent, ranging between 7.5K to 13K. Active users remained steady, fluctuating between 44K to 54K during this period.
