In Q2 2022, the top 5 MMORPG apps on iOS in France exhibited varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at each app’s performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Diablo Immortal, published by Blizzard Entertainment, saw a significant initial boost in weekly downloads, starting with 225K in the week of May 30 but quickly dropping to around 10K by the end of June. Revenue peaked at approximately $133K in the week of June 6 and then gradually decreased to around $80K. The app also experienced a decline in weekly active users, from 185K in early June to about 91K by the end of the month.

DOFUS Touch: A WAKFU Prequel, developed by Ankama, maintained a relatively stable weekly revenue, fluctuating between $14K and $23K throughout June. Weekly downloads showed a noticeable spike to 3.3K in the week of June 20, up from around 1K to 2K in previous weeks. The number of active users saw a peak at 18.3K during the same week, before settling at 16.8K by the end of June.

Guardians of Cloudia, from NEOCRAFT LIMITED, experienced a consistent decline in both weekly downloads and active users. Downloads dropped from 1.2K at the end of March to just 137 by the end of June. Similarly, active users decreased from 3.5K to approximately 1.5K over the quarter. Weekly revenue also showed a downward trend, starting at $22K in late March and falling to around $6K by the end of June.

Tales of Wind, also by NEOCRAFT LIMITED, had a more fluctuating performance. Weekly revenue ranged from $1K to nearly $5K, with a peak of $4.7K in the last week of June. Downloads remained low but saw a brief surge to 128 in the week of June 20. Active users increased from 111 in early April to a peak of 294 in mid-June, before settling at 192 by the end of the month.

Dragon Storm Fantasy, published by Goat Co. Ltd, showed a significant decline in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads fell from 77 at the end of March to just 10 by the end of June. Active users dropped from 222 to 122 over the same period. Revenue also saw a downward trend, starting at $2.2K and decreasing to about $1.2K by the end of June.
