The second quarter of 2022 saw notable trends in the performance of the top entertainment apps on iOS in Hungary. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the key metrics for HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies, TikTok, Netflix, Disney+, and TicketSwap - Buy, Sell Tickets.

HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies experienced fluctuations in both downloads and revenue throughout Q2. Weekly downloads peaked at 17.5K in mid-April but saw a gradual decline, reaching around 2.8K by the end of June. Revenue showed similar volatility, with a notable increase to approximately $11.8K in early May before dropping to around $4.5K at the end of the quarter. Active users had a peak of 49.4K in mid-April but decreased to 37.4K by the end of June.

TikTok maintained a strong presence with consistent weekly revenue and active user numbers. Revenue peaked at around $26.7K in early May, while active users hovered around 470K to 480K throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads varied, with a peak of about 6.5K in late March and a low of around 4.2K in early May.

Netflix experienced relatively stable trends. Weekly revenue ranged from approximately $1.9K to $4.1K, peaking in early June. Download numbers were steady, with a peak of 4.4K in late April. Active users showed a slight increase, from 105K in late March to around 113K by the end of June.

Disney+ showed significant activity in June, with weekly revenue peaking at around $24.9K and downloads reaching approximately 14.3K. Active users also surged, from 7.9K in mid-June to over 30K by the end of the month.

TicketSwap - Buy, Sell Tickets saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 287 in late March and reaching approximately 1.3K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, growing from 881 in late March to around 2.4K by the end of the quarter.
