In the second quarter of 2022, the top five entertainment apps on the iOS platform in Slovakia showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance, with data provided by Sensor Tower.

TikTok demonstrated a strong performance in weekly revenue, starting at around $13.9K at the end of March and peaking at approximately $27.5K by the end of June. Weekly downloads fluctuated, beginning at about 2.5K in late March and ending at roughly 2.1K in late June. Active users saw a slight increase over the quarter, moving from around 154.6K to about 161.2K.

Disney+ saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, rising from about 3.9K in mid-June to 5.5K by the end of the month. Revenue during the same period started at approximately $22.8K, dropping to about $10.9K by the end of June. Active users also increased significantly, starting at around 3.6K in mid-June and reaching approximately 11.7K by the end of the quarter.

HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting at around $1.5K in late March, peaking at approximately $3.2K in early May, and ending at roughly $1.7K by the end of June. Downloads showed a sharp decline from about 7.3K at the end of March to around 963 by the end of June. Active users saw a slight decline, moving from approximately 17.3K in late March to about 15.4K by the end of June.

Netflix had a steady increase in weekly revenue, starting at around $851 in late March and reaching approximately $2K by the end of June. Downloads fluctuated, beginning at about 1.4K in late March and ending at roughly 1.6K by the end of June. Active users showed some variability but overall increased slightly from around 47.3K in late March to about 51.2K by the end of June.

VeVe Collectibles had a varied revenue stream, starting at around $332 in late March, peaking at approximately $3.4K in mid-April, and ending at about $422 by the end of June. Downloads remained minimal throughout the quarter, with occasional spikes. Active users saw a consistent decline, starting at around 131 in late March and decreasing to about 89 by the end of June.
