Throughout the second quarter of 2022, the top five entertainment applications on iOS in Romania—TikTok, Netflix, AntenaPLAY, Disney+, and HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies—demonstrated varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.

TikTok from TikTok Ltd. experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, starting at approximately $53.7K and peaking at around $84.5K in mid-April. Downloads saw a dip in April, hitting a low of 5.7K, but later rebounded to reach around 10.3K in early June. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at about 1M and showing a slight increase to approximately 1.03M by the end of June.

Netflix from Netflix, Inc. showed a steady increase in weekly revenue, starting at $7.2K and peaking at approximately $16.3K in May. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable spike to 10.6K in late April.
