In the second quarter of 2022, the top entertainment apps on iOS in Malta showcased varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and revenue. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here’s a closer look at how these apps fared:

TikTok experienced fluctuations in both weekly revenue and downloads. Revenue peaked at around $3.4K in the final week of April and saw another high of $3.1K in early May. Downloads, on the other hand, showed a general decline from 455K at the beginning of April to a low of 252K in early May, before stabilizing around the 350K mark towards the end of June.

Netflix saw a steady increase in weekly revenue throughout the quarter, reaching approximately $2.1K in late May. Weekly downloads, however, remained relatively stable, with a slight peak of 261K in the last week of June.

Disney+, which data is available for only three weeks in June, recorded a notable weekly revenue, peaking at about $2.8K in mid-June. Downloads also showed significant numbers, starting at 463K in mid-June and reaching up to 753K in the third week of June.

Amazon Prime Video maintained a consistent revenue stream, with minor fluctuations around the $300 mark. Downloads were relatively low, with a noticeable increase in the last three weeks of June, peaking at 76K.

Crunchyroll displayed a varied revenue pattern, peaking at $176 in early May. Downloads were modest, with a peak of 26K in mid-April, and generally hovered around the teens throughout the quarter.
