The second quarter of 2022 showcased interesting trends for the top 5 MMORPG applications on the Android platform in the Middle East. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for each app.

Diablo Immortal by Blizzard Entertainment started strong with weekly revenue peaking at approximately $44.3K in the week of June 6. However, a gradual decline followed, ending the quarter at around $35.9K. Weekly downloads saw a sharp drop from 25.5K in early June to just over 1.5K by the end of the month. Active users mirrored this trend, falling from roughly 23.9K to 6.6K throughout the month.

MIR4 from Wemade Co., Ltd experienced a consistent decline in all metrics. Weekly revenue decreased steadily from $17.2K at the end of March to around $9.3K by the end of June. Downloads also dropped, from 937 at the end of March to 183 by the end of June. Active users saw a slight decline from 3.6K in late March to 2.2K by the end of June.

MU Origin 2 from GAMENOW TECHNOLOGY had relatively stable revenue, fluctuating between $1.8K and $4.7K throughout the quarter. Downloads were minimal, peaking at 156 in mid-April and falling to zero by mid-June. Active users also declined from 251 in late March to just 40 by early June.

MU ORIGIN 3 by FingerFun Limited, released in mid-May, saw its highest weekly revenue at approximately $8.2K in mid-June, ending the quarter at around $6.6K. Downloads started strong at 11.5K in late May but dropped to 228 by the end of June. Active users decreased from 10.9K in late May to 5.1K by the end of June.
