The first quarter of 2022 saw interesting trends among the top 5 entertainment apps on iOS in Romania. These insights, powered by Sensor Tower, reveal how TikTok, Netflix, AntenaPLAY, VeVe Collectibles, and Verdict Dana Budeanu performed.

TikTok experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at around $114K in mid-January and ending March with approximately $53.7K. Weekly downloads showed a downward trend, starting at approximately 21.3K and ending the quarter at around 13.2K. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users hovering close to 1M throughout the quarter.

Netflix showed consistent weekly revenue, peaking at around $13.7K at the end of February. Weekly downloads started at approximately 13.5K but saw a decline to around 6.2K by the end of March.
