Top 5 Entertainment Apps on Android in Poland in Q1 2022

In the first quarter of 2022, the top entertainment apps on the Android platform in Poland exhibited a variety of performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower reveals the following insights into the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for the top five apps: Talking Ben the Dog, HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies, Netflix, CANAL+, Live and catch-up TV, and Akinator.

Talking Ben the Dog saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 2.7K in late December 2021 and reaching approximately 70.3K by the end of March 2022. This growth was mirrored in its weekly active users, which rose from 7.2K to 124.4K. The app's weekly revenue also experienced a notable rise, peaking at $166 in the final week of March.

HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies showed strong performance in March 2022. Weekly downloads peaked at about 93.9K in mid-March, while weekly active users grew from zero at the start of March to approximately 82.9K by the end of the month. The app's weekly revenue reached its highest point in the last week of March, hitting around $15.7K.

Netflix maintained a steady download rate, with figures ranging between 17K and 32.6K throughout the quarter. However, its weekly active users showed a slight decline, starting at about 1.9M in late December 2021 and dropping to roughly 1.5M by the end of March 2022.

CANAL+, Live and catch-up TV experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 16K in mid-March. Active users ranged from 74.5K to 96.1K, showing some variability. The app's weekly revenue remained minimal, with occasional spikes.

Akinator had a varied performance in terms of downloads, starting at around 18.3K in late December 2021 and decreasing to about 8.9K by the end of March 2022. Weekly active users also followed a downward trend, from 80K in late December to approximately 49.3K by the end of the quarter.
