In Q1 2022, the top 5 entertainment apps on Android in Kenya displayed varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the data from Sensor Tower.

K24 Plus started strong with weekly downloads peaking at about 193K in mid-January but saw a significant drop to around 11K by the end of February. Active users, on the other hand, showed consistent growth, climbing from 177K at the start of the quarter to 581K by the end of March.

Netflix had a steady performance in Kenya. Weekly downloads ranged between 30K and 71K, with a notable increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 70K. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around the 420K to 460K mark.

Showmax 1.0 experienced varied weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 94K in early February. Revenue began to show in March, starting with $286 and peaking at around $1.3K by the end of the month.
