Top 5 Entertainment Apps on iOS in Poland - Q4 2021

The fourth quarter of 2021 saw notable performances from the top five entertainment apps on iOS in Poland. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for TikTok, Netflix, Player.pl, HBO GO, and Viaplay: Movies & TV Shows.

TikTok demonstrated a consistent increase in weekly revenue, growing from approximately $15K at the end of September to about $46K by the end of December. Weekly downloads also showed an upward trend, peaking at around 24K in the last week of December. Active users steadily increased from 1.18M to 1.21M over the quarter.

Netflix maintained a steady flow in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads fluctuated between 10K and 18K, with a notable peak in the final week of December. Active users hovered around 600K to 680K, showing a slight increase towards the end of the quarter. Revenue saw some spikes, particularly in early November, reaching around $24K.

Player.pl had varying weekly downloads, with a marked increase from 4.3K to 7.7K in the last week of December. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 25K, with a notable jump to nearly 30K in the final week of the year.

HBO GO experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, culminating at approximately 14K in the last week of December. Active users also saw growth, rising from 50K to around 62K by the end of the quarter. Revenue, however, remained minimal and inconsistent.

Viaplay: Movies & TV Shows showed significant fluctuations in weekly revenue, with a peak of about $17K in mid-December. Downloads saw a dramatic spike in mid-December, reaching around 15.8K, though they dropped sharply thereafter. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 22.7K in mid-December before declining to 17.5K by the end of the month.
