During the third quarter of 2021, the top five entertainment apps on iOS in Turkey demonstrated varied performance trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps showed differing patterns in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

TikTok saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $124K in early September. Weekly downloads for the app fluctuated, reaching a high of approximately 74K in mid-July before stabilizing around 57K towards the end of the quarter. Active users for TikTok grew consistently, starting at 5.4M in late June and rising to 5.6M by the end of September.

Netflix experienced a gradual increase in weekly revenue, with a peak of about $15K in early September. Download numbers showed a significant spike towards the end of the quarter, hitting around 47K in the last week of September. Active users for Netflix remained relatively stable, with a notable increase from 1.5M in mid-September to 1.8M by the month's end.

Exxen displayed a remarkable rise in downloads, particularly in mid-September when it reached approximately 143K. Active users also surged from 199K in late June to over 307K in mid-September, before settling at 262K by the end of the quarter.

Myt Music - Discover Music maintained a stable performance in terms of downloads, averaging around 14K per week throughout the quarter. Active users for the app showed a steady increase, starting at 84K in late June and rising to 108K by the end of September.

Lastly, GNÇ saw varied trends in weekly downloads, peaking at about 15K in mid-August. Active users for GNÇ grew from 205K in late June to 248K by the end of September.
