Revenue for the app showed a notable increase, reaching about $60K in the final week of September, while weekly active users fluctuated but remained around 5.9M by the end of the quarter.
Netflix maintained a consistent download rate through most of Q3 but saw a significant spike to around 141K downloads in the final week. Revenue remained fairly steady, averaging around $55K weekly. Active users experienced a slight downward trend initially but recovered to approximately 4.5M by the end of September.
HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies had an impressive start with weekly downloads hitting 223K at the beginning of the quarter. Despite a decline to around 36K downloads by the end, the app's revenue peaked at $80K in early September. Active users grew steadily, reaching around 433K by the last week of September.
Amazon Prime Video saw a significant increase in weekly downloads towards the end of the quarter, peaking at approximately 131K. Despite negligible revenue, the app maintained a steady active user base, ending the quarter at around 302K active users.
Disney+ experienced a steady decline in downloads, starting from around 87K in early July to 22K by the end of September. Revenue saw a high of about $302K in the first week of July but dropped to around $129K by the end of the period. Active users also declined, finishing the quarter at approximately 694K.
