During the second quarter of 2021, the top 5 books applications on a unified platform in Central America displayed diverse performance metrics in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here are the key highlights from Sensor Tower's data:

Storytel - Audiobooks Library exhibited a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $21K in the final week of June. Weekly downloads showed a significant increase mid-quarter, reaching 17K in the week of May 31. However, weekly active users saw a downward trend, decreasing from 92K at the beginning of the quarter to 73K by June 21, before recovering to 87K at the end of June.

Sueñovela saw its weekly revenue peak at $25K in mid-April and then fluctuated, ending the quarter at $20K. The app’s weekly downloads experienced a sharp rise early in the quarter, reaching 137K in mid-April, before declining to approximately 31K by the end of June.
