During the second quarter of 2021, the top 5 entertainment apps on the Android platform in Kuwait showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

YouTube Kids experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at 8.3K in early April and gradually declining to around 3.2K by the end of June. Active users, however, demonstrated a consistent upward trend, rising from 5.2K at the start of April to 21.4K by the end of June.

Sango-Chat, Explore & Hangout saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $320 in early June. Weekly downloads peaked at 5.3K in early May, before stabilizing around 3.3K by the end of June. Active users mirrored this trend, increasing from 3.3K at the end of March to 6.2K by mid-June, before slightly dropping to 5.3K by the end of the quarter.

ZEE5: Movies, TV Shows, Series saw weekly downloads peaking at 3.1K in early May, followed by a decline to around 1.2K by the end of June. Active users showed a similar trend, peaking at 19K in early May and decreasing to around 14.1K by the end of the quarter.
