During the second quarter of 2021, the top 5 entertainment apps on the Android platform in Colombia showcased varied performance trends. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads, active users, and revenue, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Pluto TV: Watch Movies & TV saw a mixed trend in weekly downloads, peaking at around 132K in mid-June before dropping to approximately 69K by the end of the quarter. The app maintained a steady increase in active users, climbing from 395K at the start of April to a high of 531K in mid-June, before settling at around 407K by the end of June.

Netflix experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads from 101K at the beginning of April to 64K by the end of June. Active users also showed a slight downward trend, starting at 3.87M and ending at 3.60M.

Disney+ demonstrated notable fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 97K in early April, dipping to around 55K at the end of May, and then surging to 106K in late June. Weekly revenue showed a slight increase, reaching a peak of approximately $7.9K in early June. Active users followed an upward trend, growing from 1.47M at the end of March to 1.63M by the end of June.

VIX - Cine y TV en Español had a significant spike in downloads in late April, reaching over 111K, but saw a decline to around 50K by the end of June. Active users increased from 49K at the end of March to a peak of 135K in early May, before stabilizing around 77K by the end of June.

Google Play Games maintained a relatively stable weekly download rate, fluctuating between 51K and 65K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a slight decline from 1.51M at the end of March to 1.26M by the end of June.
