The final quarter of 2020 saw significant user engagement in the Books category on the unified platform in the United Kingdom. Here's a look at the performance trends of the top five apps, with insights from Sensor Tower.

Audible: Audio Entertainment continued to lead with a strong performance, showcasing a revenue increase from $856K to $1.8M over the quarter. Downloads also saw a notable rise from 35K to 53K, while weekly active users peaked at 780K in the last week of December, despite some fluctuations earlier in the quarter.

Amazon Kindle, while not generating direct revenue through the app, maintained a steady download rate, ending the quarter with 37K downloads from a starting point of 30K. Weekly active users saw a significant increase, jumping from 547K to 645K.
