Nudge Healthcare is a digital health platform in Korea, best known for its flagship app Cashwalk, which rewards users for everyday movement while encouraging healthier daily habits.

As the company expanded into multiple markets, understanding the competitive landscape became increasingly critical.

We spoke with Nudge Healthcare to learn how they use Sensor Tower to guide their strategy. Hear directly from Seungguen Song, CEO of Nudge Healthcare, in the video above.

1. What challenges were you aiming to solve when you adopted Sensor Tower?

For Cashwalk, competing across Korea, the U.S., and Japan, one of the most critical challenges was understanding exactly where we stand in the market. Internal data alone made it difficult to capture broader market dynamics and identify the key growth drivers of competitors. To bridge this gap, we adopted Sensor Tower. With its data, we were able to compare competitive landscapes and key metrics across countries at a glance, allowing us to redefine our market positioning based on data.

2. How did Sensor Tower’s data and insights support your decision-making and strategy development?

Sensor Tower became more than a tool for tracking metrics. It evolved into a way to interpret the reasons behind market changes. By analyzing competitors’ download and active user trends, we were able to identify the drivers behind specific growth periods and connect them to product features, marketing activities, and seasonality. This enabled us to transition from intuition based decisions to a more data driven strategic approach.

3. After integrating Sensor Tower into your workflow, what key changes did you observe? Which teams benefited the most?

The most significant change was that every strategy now begins with a “testable hypothesis.” Before launching new features or marketing initiatives, we first validate similar cases using Sensor Tower data and assess the likelihood of success. Additionally, having a standardized way to compare our performance with competitors has significantly improved both the speed of analysis and the accuracy of decision-making.

These changes have had a positive impact across multiple teams, particularly product, marketing, and strategy, by enabling more aligned and data-driven collaboration.
