U.S. Digital Ad Spending Reached $23.5 Billion in Q2 2022

Pathmatics’ inaugural Q2 2022 Data Digest reveals that digital ad spend in the U.S. reached $23.5 billion, climbing 11.7 percent quarter-over-quarter from Q1 2022.

Digital advertising platforms in the United States have grown quarter-over-quarter from Q1 2022. Pathmatics’ latest Q2 2022 Data Digest, available now, reveals that digital ad spend in the U.S. reached $23.5 billion, an 11.7 percent increase from Q1 2022.In Q2 2022, social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Snapchat made up 61 percent of total ad spending on social channels in the U.S. Display and video ads followed with 24 percent and OTT with 15 percent. While Facebook still reigns as the No. 1 platform by ad spend in Q2 2022, TikTok is the fastest-growing platform, showing a significant increase in growth at 33 percent to $1.2 billion.
