US Android Idler Games Market Performance in Q2 2023

In Q2 2023, the US Android market for idler games saw varying trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users across popular titles. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a detailed glimpse into the performance of these leisurely yet engaging games.

Cat Snack Bar: Cat Food Tycoon, published by TREEPLLA from South Korea, maintained a consistent download trend with a peak of around 43k downloads in mid-April before slightly declining to approximately 26k by the end of June. Revenue for the game showed a steady decrease from around 30k in late March to about 14k by the end of June. Weekly active users started strong at around 170k but dipped to approximately 154k towards the end of the quarter.

German-based Lessmore UG's Eatventure experienced a similar pattern in downloads, with a peak of around 46k in late April before settling to about 30k by late June. Revenue displayed a more fluctuating trend, with the highest around 67k in late April, followed by a drop to roughly 54k towards the end of the quarter. The game's weekly active users peaked at around 237k in late April and slightly decreased to about 216k by the end of June.

Rollic Games' Lifting Hero, from Turkey, had no recorded revenue until a jump to $387 in late June. Downloads saw an upswing from around 22k in early April to approximately 36k by the end of June. Weekly active users saw a peak of about 187k in mid-June, maintaining a relatively stable user base throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Idle Miner Tycoon: Gold & Cash by Kolibri Games from Germany, exhibited a revenue peak of almost 49k in early April, followed by a dip and a recovery to around 42k by late June. Downloads showed volatility, with a high of around 45k in late May, while weekly active users displayed growth from about 295k to just over 386k throughout the quarter.
