Travel Trends Soften into 2023
Travel app downloads rose 26% YoY in Q3 2022, but growth slowed to 4% QoQ, according to Sensor Tower. The report also found that Expedia's and Tripadvisor's monthly active users fell 25% and 9% YoY, respectively, for October 2022, while Hopper saw a 12% slide QoQ. Customer engagement is also waning, with average session count and average time spent down on a sequential basis since July 2022.
