As the year 2022 wrapped up, the fitness and weight loss app category continued to engage users across Latin America. Compiled data from Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into the performance of the region's top applications in this segment during the fourth quarter.

Home Fitness Coach: FitCoach saw its downloads start at around 233k in the final week of September and peak at over 340k in mid-October before experiencing a gradual decline to approximately 110k by the year's end. Despite fluctuations, weekly active users remained robust, beginning at around 522k and hitting a high of approximately 681k in mid-October.

For Home Workout - No Equipment, downloads hovered between 160k and 172k in early Q4, with a slight decrease to around 118k in the last week of December. Active users showed a modest downtrend from 1.15 million in late September to just over 1 million by the close of the quarter.

Six Pack in 30 Days experienced a similar trend, with downloads peaking at around 140k in early October and settling near 102k by the end of December. Weekly active users maintained a level above 1 million throughout the quarter, indicating steady engagement.

Sweatcoin witnessed its downloads peak at approximately 143k in early October, followed by a decline to just over 105k by the year's end. Active users reached a high of 1.42 million in early October but saw a decrease to around 808k in the final week of December.

Lastly, Lucky Step-Walking Tracker began the quarter with over 212k downloads, which gradually decreased to around 44k. Despite no reported revenue, weekly active users started at approximately 582k and showed a downward trend, ending at around 269k in the last week of December.
