The second quarter of 2023 has been an interesting period for Solitaire applications in Europe. Compiled data from Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look at their performance, with some clear trends emerging across downloads, revenue, and active users.
Starting off with Fishdom Solitaire, the app showed promising revenue growth, starting around $191k and peaking at nearly $267k before a slight dip to around $212k. Downloads saw an initial surge to around 158k but experienced a decline towards the end of the quarter, settling at approximately 29k. The weekly active users peaked at around 400k but then followed a downward trend to about 262k.
NerByte GmbH's Solitaire: Cards Games 2023, while showing modest revenue figures that hovered around $1k to $1.4k, had an impressive number of active users. The weekly active user count remained consistently above 1.6 million throughout the quarter. Downloads, however, showed a decrease from around 142k to just under 100k.
For Solitaire - Card Games Classic, the revenue numbers were lower, ranging from $602 to $862, but the app saw a significant rise in downloads in the last week of Q2, jumping to around 94k. Weekly active users showed a healthy uptrend, starting at around 525k and growing to over 636k by the quarter's end.
Easybrain's Solitaire – Classic Card Games had a steady revenue stream with slight fluctuations, generally staying within the $700 to $1.1k range. Downloads began at around 60k, peaked at over 68k, and then saw a drop to around 64k by the end of Q2. The weekly active users showed resilience, with a small drop mid-quarter but recovering to around 755k.
Lastly, Solitaire Klondike Fish by SEEYA displayed modest revenue figures, starting at nearly $2k and closing the quarter at around $1.1k. The downloads experienced a general decline from 71k to 41k, while the weekly active users showcased a slight decrease from approximately 339k to 308k.
