Q2 2023 Performance of Top Drawing & Coloring iOS Apps in Europe

As the digital art space continues to thrive, we turn our attention to the performance of the top five drawing and coloring applications on iOS in Europe during Q2 2023, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Color by Number：Coloring Games experienced a fluctuating download trend beginning with around 43k and peaking at approximately 51k, before settling at around 37k by the end of Q2. Revenue maintained a steady trend with figures just above 27k, and weekly active users saw a gradual decline from around 264k to 237k.

For Phone Case DIY, the app's downloads showed significant variability, with a high of over 51k and a low of around 19k. The weekly active users started strong at approximately 119k but saw a decrease to about 102k by the quarter's end. Revenue figures were negligible throughout the quarter.

Pixel Art － Color by Number maintained a relatively stable revenue, averaging around 8k per week. Downloads began at around 35k, experienced a dip to nearly 27k, and then recovered to approximately 36k. The app's weekly active users were quite robust, starting at around 416k and ending the quarter with around 419k.

Happy Color® Art Coloring Book saw its downloads fluctuate between around 39k and 32k, with a slight uptick to about 32k in the final week of Q2. Revenue trends were modest, hovering around the 2k mark. Weekly active users showed a downward trend from roughly 760k to 708k.

Lastly, the newly released Drawing Carnival showed promising growth in downloads, starting at around 18k and reaching over 43k by the quarter's end. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, from approximately 16k to over 105k.
