The first quarter of 2023 has been a fascinating period for the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) category on Android in the United States. Data compiled by Sensor Tower provides us with detailed insights into how the top MOBA applications have performed.

Pokémon UNITE, published by The Pokémon Company, started the quarter with a spike in downloads, reaching around 124k in the first week of January, but then saw a gradual decline to approximately 16k by the end of March. Revenue trends also decreased from around 54k in late December to about 26k in late March. Weekly active users exhibited a declining trend from around 103k at the end of December to approximately 71k by the end of March.

Brawl Stars by Supercell experienced a high in revenue at the end of December with around 259k, followed by fluctuations that ultimately settled at around 91k by March's end. Downloads for Brawl Stars remained fairly consistent, with a slight increase from about 11k to around 11.3k. The weekly active users for Brawl Stars saw a significant drop from around 1.7 million to approximately 1.3 million.

Moonton's Mobile Legends: Bang Bang showed an impressive revenue peak in mid-February at around 270k, with a general declining trend to about 153k by March's end. Downloads remained stable with a slight increase from around 8.6k to 8.7k. The game's weekly active users stayed fairly constant, ranging from around 350k to 343k.

League of Legends: Wild Rift, developed by Riot Games, Inc, displayed revenue that peaked in mid-March at around 74k, contrasting with a low in early February at about 32k. Downloads were steady, with a minor increase from 2.8k to around 3.5k. Weekly active users saw a decline from 93k to roughly 74k.

Lastly, Super Spy Ryan: Rumble Arena, with no revenue data after the first week of January, had a consistent download rate, ranging from 2k to over 2.3k. Unfortunately, no data on weekly active users for this title is available.
