As the first quarter of 2023 comes to a close, Sensor Tower has compiled data revealing the performance of the top five dating applications on Android in the United States. Here's how these popular apps fared in the love-seeking market.

Bumble: Dating App & Friends has demonstrated a steady revenue growth over the quarter, with a notable peak of around $1.3 million in the final week. Downloads saw a significant spike in early February with over 140k new users, followed by a gradual decrease. Weekly active users peaked at around 2.1 million in late January and remained relatively stable with slight fluctuations throughout the quarter.

Tinder Dating app. Meet People maintained a consistent revenue stream, hovering around $850k to $910k each week. The app's downloads showed a downward trend from over 64k at the start of the period to around 52k by the end. Weekly active users started at around 2.7 million, saw a dip in February, and ended the quarter with around 2.5 million active users.

Hinge Dating App: Meet & Date experienced a gradual increase in revenue, hitting a high of over $550k in late February. Downloads began at approximately 32k and showed a decline to around 24k by March's end. The app's weekly active users remained consistent with over 1.2 million users engaging each week.

Grindr - Gay chat saw a revenue increase from around $328k to $386k in late February before stabilizing. Downloads experienced a slight increase with a peak of over 19k in the last week of March. Weekly active users showed some volatility, with a high of around 640k in late January and concluding the quarter with approximately 560k users.

Once: Perfect Match and Dates had its revenue fluctuate, reaching around $130k in late February and ending with about $113k. The app's downloads declined from 12k to just under 7.5k, while weekly active users decreased from around 24k to 16k by the quarter's close.
