Pandora: Music & Podcasts has shown a notable revenue performance with around $3 million in the last week of December, decreasing slightly to around $2.7 million by the end of March. Downloads started at around 121k at the end of December, dipping to approximately 77k by March, while weekly active users saw a decrease from around 12 million to about 11 million in the same period.
YouTube Music maintained a steady revenue of around $2 million towards the end of December, with a slight increase to approximately $2.1 million by the end of February, before settling at about $1.9 million in late March. Downloads for YouTube Music showed a decline from roughly 184k to around 130k, and weekly active users had a slight uptick from around 13 million to nearly 14 million by mid-March, before slightly decreasing again.
Amazon Music: Songs & Podcasts saw its revenue rise from about $1.5 million in late December to nearly $1.7 million by the end of February, with a slight drop to around $1.4 million by the end of March. Downloads decreased from roughly 159k to approximately 83k, while weekly active users showed a slight decline from almost 2 million to around 1.9 million.
SoundCloud: Discover New Music observed its revenue fluctuating, starting at around $766k and peaking at approximately $933k in late February, ending at about $715k in late March. Downloads remained fairly stable, starting at around 113k and ending at roughly 97k. Weekly active users started at around 17 million and remained relatively stable throughout the quarter.
TIDAL Music: HiFi, Ad-free showed revenue starting at around $609k, dipping to approximately $528k in early January, and then experiencing a peak of about $748k in late February, before closing the quarter at around $557k. Downloads for TIDAL Music had a slight increase from around 13k to 16k in February, with slight variations throughout the quarter. Weekly active users experienced a decrease from around 620k to about 571k by the end of March.
