Drawing and coloring apps have seen a variety of performance trends in Europe during Q4 2022. Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into these trends, showcasing how these apps have fared in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

Color Page ASMR – Art Coloring experienced a significant surge in downloads, starting from around 2k in late September to nearly 650k in late October. However, this trend saw a gradual decline, with downloads dropping to around 238k in mid-December before rebounding to around 545k at the end of December. The weekly active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at around 1.1 million in late October and then falling to approximately 699k in mid-December. The active users then increased again, reaching around 1.1 million by the year's end.

Crazy Labs' Phone Case DIY saw consistent downloads throughout the quarter, with numbers hovering above 220k in early October and experiencing a notable jump to nearly 469k by the end of December. Weekly active users showed a similar uptrend, starting from around 908k and reaching over 1.3 million by the close of Q4.

Pixel Art - Color by Number by Easybrain also showed an upward trend in both revenue and engagement. Revenue figures ranged from around $9k to $11k per week, with a slight dip in mid-October. Downloads increased steadily from around 164k to over 329k by the end of December. The app's weekly active users remained robust, with numbers starting at around 2.4 million and reaching nearly 3 million by the year's end.

Happy Color® Art Coloring Book by X-Flow displayed a steady revenue stream, with weekly revenue increasing from around $3k to over $4.6k. Downloads showed an increasing trend, with the app starting at around 147k in late September and reaching over 251k by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users for Happy Color® were consistently high, starting at around 2.9 million and maintaining a level above 3 million throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Makeup Kit - Color Mixing saw its downloads begin at around 257k, peaking to almost 283k by the end of October. The trend then saw a decline to around 122k in mid-December before picking up again to approximately 246k. Weekly active users mirrored this pattern, with an initial figure of around 549k, a peak at about 612k, and then a decrease to around 322k before climbing back up to around 519k by the end of December.
