4Q22 Gaming Round-Up

Mobile gaming struggled to match the highs of 2021, with Western publishers seeing their portfolios and bookings slide. EA was boosted by FIFA, but the rest of its portfolio struggled, while Take-Two's mobile bookings were also down. However, the diverse mobile portfolio obtained from buying Zynga allows for exposure to sub-genres that have done well in the past. The upcoming Shooter Report will address the recent Apex Legends cancellation.
