Top Utilities Apps in Europe Q3 2025: Unified Platform Insights

In the third quarter of 2025, the top utilities applications in Europe showed varied trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, as recorded by Sensor Tower.

Google experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $4.8K by the end of September. Weekly downloads showed a downward trend from over 625K in early July to just under 500K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained stable, fluctuating slightly around 475M throughout the period.

On the other hand, Google Chrome saw a modest revenue increase, with figures reaching $584 by the end of September. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 420K and closing the quarter at 386K. Active users remained consistent at approximately 466M.

Proton VPN: Fast & Secure saw a notable spike in revenue mid-quarter, peaking at $177K in late July. Downloads followed a similar pattern, reaching a high of 821K before tapering off to 368K. Active users saw a slight decline from over 8.2M to 7.6M by the end of September.

Google Authenticator maintained a consistent download rate, rising from 400K to 456K by quarter's end. Active users increased from 16M to over 17M, showcasing steady growth.

Lastly, NordVPN: VPN Fast & Secure demonstrated strong revenue performance, peaking at over $2M in late July. Downloads showed a decline from 406K to 247K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained robust, increasing from 4.4M to nearly 6.8M.
