Top Utilities Apps Performance in Germany Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the top utilities applications on the unified platform in Germany showed varied performance trends. Based on Sensor Tower data, here is a closer look at these apps.

Google experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $684 by mid-September. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at approximately 65K and eventually stabilizing around 60K towards the end of the quarter. Active users showed a gradual increase, reaching over 53.7M by the quarter’s end.

AusweisApp Bund saw its weekly downloads peak at nearly 125K in July but settled around 119K by September. Active users also varied, with a notable peak of over 1.14M in late August.

Google Chrome maintained stable weekly download numbers, hovering around 50K throughout the quarter. Active users consistently remained above 46.7M, showing a slight upward trend by the end of September.

Google Authenticator had weekly downloads reaching up to 95K in late September, while active users fluctuated, peaking at over 3.07M by the end of the quarter.

Finally, MeinMagenta: Handy & Festnetz experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at about 79K in early September. Active users showed a consistent increase, stabilizing at around 1.9M by the quarter’s end.
