In the third quarter of 2025, the top news applications in Mexico showcased diverse trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

X saw a peak in weekly downloads, reaching around 191K in early September. Revenue for X peaked at approximately $32.7K in July, while active users fluctuated between 17M and 18M throughout the quarter.

Reddit maintained steady weekly downloads, peaking at 33.9K in September. Its revenue remained modest, peaking at $344 in late June. The app's active users showed a peak at 1.57M mid-September.

Alerta Sísmica México - SASSLA experienced a significant spike in downloads, reaching 94K in mid-September. Revenue increased sharply to $13.2K by the end of the quarter, and active users peaked at over 2.22M in mid-September.

Substack had a peak in downloads of 7.8K in late July. Revenue remained minimal throughout the quarter, peaking at $44 in July. Active users showed a consistent trend, peaking at 50K in early September.
