Top MMORPG Apps in Netherlands Q3 2025: Performance Insights

In the third quarter of 2025, the MMORPG category in the Netherlands showed dynamic performance across top applications on a unified platform, combining both iOS and Android data. Here's a closer look at the trends for the top five apps, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Old School RuneScape from Jagex experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $16K at the end of September. Weekly downloads displayed a gradual decline throughout the quarter, starting at 533 and dropping to 444 by the end of September. However, weekly active users increased steadily from 3.4K to 5.4K.

RuneScape also by Jagex, showed fluctuating revenue, with a high of $3.7K in early September before ending the quarter at $2.6K. Downloads remained relatively stable with a minor peak at 339 in mid-September. Active users increased from 386 to 497 in the same period.

MapleStory M: Fantasy MMORPG by NEXON Company had a revenue surge in late July, reaching $6.1K, before settling around $2K by the end of the quarter. Downloads were minimal, with a slight increase to 38 in late August. Active users hovered around 200 throughout the quarter.

Flame of Valhalla Global from Leniu Games saw a declining revenue trend, starting at $3.3K and dropping to $1.8K. Downloads were modest, peaking at 160 in early August, while active users decreased slightly from 995 to 938.

MU: Dark Epoch by BUILDING-BLOCKS NETWORK TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED, ended the quarter with a revenue increase, reaching $3.5K. Downloads showed a steady rise, peaking at 411 in late August. Active users grew from 1.6K to 2.2K over the quarter.
