In the third quarter of 2025, the top book applications in Austria showed varied performance across key metrics on a unified platform, combining both iOS and Android data. This analysis is based on data from Sensor Tower.

Audible: Audiobooks & Podcasts saw a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting from 2.3K in early July to around 1.9K by the end of September. However, its weekly revenue demonstrated a resurgence, climbing from $49.7K to $58.8K by the quarter's end. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 305K mid-quarter before settling at 265K.

Galatea: Books & Audiobooks experienced stable weekly downloads around the 300 range, while revenue saw a gradual decrease from $6.2K to $4.8K. Active users remained consistent, hovering just below 3K.

NovelaGo: Stories and novels had a noticeable drop in downloads from 205 to 67, alongside a decrease in revenue from $5.2K to $3.2K. Despite these declines, active users increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching 921.
