In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of the top utilities applications on iOS in Ireland showcased varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. This analysis is based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Chrome saw a slight increase in weekly revenue towards the end of the quarter, peaking at approximately $40 in early September. Weekly downloads showed a general decline from 4.8K at the beginning of July to about 3.3K by the end of September. Meanwhile, active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 290K throughout the quarter.

The Google app experienced a steady rise in weekly revenue, reaching $61 by the end of September. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 3.8K in early July and ending at 3K. Active user numbers increased slightly, from 282K in late June to approximately 288K by the end of the quarter.

An Post: Track & Manage showed a significant increase in downloads, starting at 1.7K and climbing to 3.2K by the end of September. Active users also saw growth, with numbers rising from 22.8K in late June to 32.7K by the end of the quarter.

For Google Authenticator, downloads remained consistent, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 2K. Active users showed some fluctuation, starting at 38.4K and reaching 37.3K by the end of September.

Finally, Microsoft Edge: AI Browser experienced a modest increase in downloads, peaking at 2.5K in mid-September. Active users grew steadily, from 57.6K in late June to 59.8K by the end of the quarter.
