In the third quarter of 2025, the top utilities apps on iOS in Germany displayed varied performance trends, as revealed by Sensor Tower data.

Google saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $684 in early September. Downloads started strong, with a peak of about 70K in mid-July, before stabilizing around 55K by the end of September. Active users remained consistently high, increasing from 16.7M to nearly 17M over the quarter.

AusweisApp Bund maintained a solid download rate throughout the quarter, with a notable rise to 75K in late July. Weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at 658K in late August before settling at approximately 523K by quarter's end.

Google Chrome experienced a modest revenue gain, reaching $58 in early August. Download numbers showed a slight decline from 52K in early July to about 41K at the quarter's close. Active users remained stable, finishing the quarter just over 12.5M.

Google Authenticator saw a consistent download rate with a peak of 39K in mid-August. Active users increased from 1.3M to approximately 1.5M by the end of September, indicating a growing user base.
