Top 5 iOS Utilities Apps in Australia Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the top utilities applications on iOS in Australia showed varying trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

myGov from Services Australia saw a decline in weekly downloads from 82K at its peak in mid-July to approximately 50K by the end of September. Its active user base started at 1.55M, dropped to around 1.05M mid-quarter, and ended at 1.09M.

Google maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 29K and slightly decreasing to 24K by quarter's end. The app's weekly revenue showed a notable peak at $727 during late July, while active users remained relatively stable around 5.2M.

Google Authenticator experienced fluctuations in downloads, beginning at 31K and settling at 22K. Active users saw a minor decline from 880K to approximately 878K.

Google Chrome showed stable download numbers, hovering around 18K, while active users consistently stayed above 5.9M. Revenue was minimal, with a slight increase in early September.

myVicRoads downloads decreased from 16K to 13K throughout the quarter. Active users had a significant drop from 275K at the start to 234K by the end of September.
