Top 5 Insurance Apps on iOS in Oceania: Q3 2025 Performance Overview

The third quarter of 2025 witnessed notable trends among the top insurance apps on the iOS platform in Oceania. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

myBupa from Bupa Australia Health Pty Ltd showed a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting from around 9K at the beginning of July and tapering off to about 6.8K by the end of September. Meanwhile, weekly active users experienced fluctuations, peaking at approximately 160K in mid-July before settling at around 126K by the end of the quarter.

My Medibank, published by Medibank Private Limited, recorded a decrease in weekly downloads from 6.1K at the start of the quarter to roughly 3.7K in late September. The app's weekly active users also showed variability, with numbers dipping to around 95K in early September before rising to close at approximately 114K.

AAMI App, developed by AAI Limited, experienced a sharp increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, climbing from 3.9K in early July to 8.7K by the end of September. Active users saw a similar upward trend, reaching over 54K in mid-September, despite an earlier dip in user numbers.

nib, provided by nib health funds limited, maintained a steady download rate, fluctuating around 3K weekly through the quarter. Active users showed a slight increase, starting from 27K and ending at about 29K.

Lastly, Hostplus by HOSTPLUS Super, observed a modest rise in downloads, starting from 3.4K and increasing to nearly 3.9K by the end of September. Active users for Hostplus grew steadily, reaching a peak of 91K in late August before closing the quarter at approximately 87K.
