In the third quarter of 2025, the Romanian Android shopping app market saw significant activity from top players. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the leading apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Trendyol - Online Alışveriş experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 47.5K in early July and peaking at 94K by the end of September. Meanwhile, weekly active users rose from 1.4M to nearly 1.9M, showcasing a strong growth trajectory throughout the quarter.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire also demonstrated robust performance with downloads climbing from 41.6K to around 49.8K. Active user numbers showed a steady increase, reaching up to 1.8M by the quarter’s end.

SHEIN-Shopping Online had a varied download pattern, starting at 34.7K and fluctuating before settling at 31.8K. The app maintained a consistent user base, with active users hovering around 2.5M throughout the quarter.

eMAG.ro saw its weekly downloads begin at 17.9K and peak at 35.9K in late July, before settling back to 15.8K by the end of September. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 2.8M.

Finally, Kaufland - Shopping & Offers showed a steady download flow, reaching 27K in late September. Active users increased from 882.6K to over 1M, indicating growing user engagement.
