Top 5 Shopping Apps on Android in New Zealand for Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of the top shopping apps on the Android platform in New Zealand showcased varying trends in downloads and active users, as observed through Sensor Tower data.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 5.8K in early July and reaching approximately 7.7K by the end of September. Weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at over 500K towards the end of the quarter.

Shop: All your favorite brands showed a consistent rise in downloads, from about 1.7K at the beginning of the quarter to around 7.5K in late September. The app's weekly active users also increased, nearly tripling from 11.5K to over 30K.

Shop Kmart Low Prices For Life maintained a steady download rate, with a noticeable spike in the final weeks of September, reaching over 5.7K. Active users showed a downward trend, starting at about 59K and ending with approximately 63K.

SHEIN-Shopping Online saw its downloads rise from around 4K to over 5.3K by the end of the quarter, while active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at approximately 121K.

Lastly, ShopBack: Cashback & Rewards witnessed a steady increase in both downloads and active users. Downloads grew from about 3.6K to over 5.3K, and active users rose from 22K to nearly 28K.
