Top Utilities Apps in Netherlands Q2 2025: Performance Overview

In the second quarter of 2025, the Netherlands witnessed varied performance trends among the top utilities applications on the unified platform, as reported by Sensor Tower.

UK ETA from Home Office showed a consistent download pattern with a peak of around 54K downloads in late March, followed by a gradual decline before stabilizing near 30K in late June. Active users steadily increased from 82K to 108K over the quarter.

Google Chrome experienced a download surge in late April with 24K downloads, followed by stabilization around 15K. Active users remained stable, averaging over 10M throughout the quarter, with a minor revenue uptick in the last two weeks.

Google saw active user numbers rising from 10.3M to 11M, while downloads fluctuated between 14K and 19K. Revenue peaked at $110 in mid-May before a decline towards the end of the quarter.

Microsoft Edge: AI Browser showed a notable increase in downloads, reaching nearly 30K by early June. Despite a dip in active users early in the quarter, numbers rebounded to over 1.5M. Revenue saw a spike to $70 in late June.

Google Authenticator maintained steady download growth, peaking at 20K in late June. Active users fluctuated slightly but ended the quarter with approximately 948K.
