In the second quarter of 2025, the utilities app sector in Ghana showed diverse trends across the top five applications, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 24K by the end of June. Active users also saw consistent growth, reaching approximately 731K. Revenue was negligible throughout the quarter.

Xender: Transfer, Share Files demonstrated strong user engagement with downloads climbing to nearly 65K in the final week of June. Active users increased steadily, reaching about 444K.

Google Chrome experienced stable download numbers, with slight fluctuations, ending the quarter with approximately 7K weekly downloads. Active users hovered around 986K, showing minor variations. Revenue was insignificant except for a slight increase at the quarter's end.

Cleaner AI: Photo Cleanup saw a notable rise in revenue, peaking at $908 in late June. Downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of around 5.8K before declining towards the end of the quarter. Active users rose to over 13K before settling at approximately 11.8K.

Phoenix Browser - Fast & Safe had a consistent number of downloads, averaging around 4K weekly. Active users increased steadily, reaching around 87K by the end of June.
