Top Utilities Apps Performance in Central America Q2 2025

The second quarter of 2025 saw significant activity among the top utilities applications in Central America on a unified platform. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of these apps in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

Google experienced a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $349 in late May. Weekly downloads showed a positive trend, reaching a high of approximately 105K in early June. Active users also saw a steady rise, closing the quarter at about 94.4M.

Google Chrome maintained a stable download rate, with weekly figures hovering around 60K to 70K. Although revenue remained negligible, active users stayed strong, ending the quarter at nearly 92M.

VPN Lumos: Open & Connect USA saw weekly revenue fluctuate, reaching around $10.2K in early June. Downloads varied, peaking at about 61K mid-June, while active users rose to over 299K by the end of the quarter.

Mi Telcel showed stable download numbers, closing June with approximately 28.5K weekly downloads. Active users displayed an upward trend, reaching about 1.57M by the end of the quarter.

Universal Remote・TV Control saw a gradual increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $9.6K in late June. Downloads fluctuated, with a high of about 16.7K mid-June, and active users climbed steadily to nearly 100K by quarter's end.
