In the second quarter of 2025, the top five news applications in Peru showed varied performance trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated notable patterns in weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics across both iOS and Android platforms.

X from X Corp. saw a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, peaking at around $2.9K at the end of April. Downloads were highest in mid-June with approximately 20.5K, while active users reached over 2.4M in early May, showing a slight decline by the end of the quarter.

Reddit maintained a steady revenue stream, with a notable increase to $10 in late April. Downloads remained consistent, averaging around 4K weekly, while active users fluctuated, reaching over 84K by the end of June.

Substack experienced a modest rise in revenue, peaking at $9 in May. Downloads were highest in mid-April with 1.3K, and active users saw an increase to over 7K by mid-June.

SkyAlert: Alerta Sísmica showed a significant spike in downloads in early June, reaching over 10K, and active users surged to over 10K mid-month. Revenue peaked at $34 during the same period.
