In the second quarter of 2025, the top dating applications on a unified platform in Nigeria showed distinct trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date from Tinder LLC experienced a gradual increase in weekly revenue, starting from around $11.9K and peaking at approximately $15.3K by the end of June. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly but ended the quarter strong at about 21.7K. Active users initially declined but showed recovery towards the end, reaching approximately 178K.

BuzzCast - Live Video Chat App maintained a consistent increase in revenue, starting at $8.1K and rising to $10.2K by the end of the quarter. Downloads remained steady, hovering around 6.7K towards the end of June. Active users also saw an upward trend, reaching about 21.5K.

Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date showed a steady revenue increase, closing the quarter at approximately $8.7K. Downloads varied, with a peak of around 13.7K in the final week. Active users increased steadily throughout the quarter, ending with approximately 119K.

AfroIntroductions: Afro Dating saw revenue growth, starting at $3.5K and ending at about $7.1K. Downloads peaked mid-quarter at around 24.5K, and active users increased steadily, reaching approximately 28.4K by the end of June.

Bumpy – International Dating showed fluctuating revenue, ending at about $5.2K. Downloads increased towards the end, reaching approximately 16.2K. Active users consistently grew, closing the quarter at around 87.8K.
