In the second quarter of 2025, the top utilities applications on the iOS platform in Oceania demonstrated notable trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

myGov from Services Australia saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting at around 42K in early April and climbing to approximately 74K by the end of June. This growth was mirrored in active users, which surged from 755K to a peak of over 1.5M.

Google Authenticator experienced a steady increase in downloads, reaching over 59K in late May, before stabilizing around 34K by the end of the quarter. The app maintained a robust base of active users, fluctuating between 678K and 805K.

The Google app consistently attracted downloads, ranging from 27K to 34K, with active users remaining stable above 5.2M throughout the quarter. Revenue showed some variability, peaking at $505 in April.

Google Chrome saw a modest increase in downloads, peaking at 21K by the quarter's end. Active users remained consistently high, hovering around 6.3M.

Lastly, myVicRoads observed a notable peak in downloads in June, surpassing 31K. Active users also rose significantly, ending the quarter at nearly 260K.
