In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top utilities applications on the iOS platform in Ireland showcased varying trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Google Chrome saw a moderate fluctuation in weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting at around 6K downloads in early April, it dipped to approximately 3.7K in mid-April, before recovering to 5.4K in early May. By the end of June, downloads stabilized around 4.8K. Meanwhile, weekly active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 278K to 286K.

The Google app experienced consistent weekly downloads, starting at 3.8K and closing the quarter at a similar level. Its weekly active user base grew from 264K to a peak of 286K by the end of June, indicating a steady increase in user engagement.

An Post: Track & Manage observed a notable rise in downloads in mid-May, peaking at 3.9K, before declining to 1.7K by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar trend, reaching a high of 27.7K in late May and tapering off to 23.6K in June.

Google Authenticator maintained a steady increase in downloads, beginning at 2K and rising to 2.5K by the end of June. Active users also increased, starting at 32K and reaching over 40K by the end of the quarter.

Finally, Microsoft Edge: AI Browser showed a gradual increase in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads rose from 1.6K to over 2.3K, while active users increased from 51K to 55K, demonstrating a growing user base.
