In the second quarter of 2025, the iOS platform in Oceania saw notable activity in the automotive app category. Here’s how the top apps performed during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

BPme by BP Australia Pty Ltd experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, peaking at over 10K in early April, before gradually declining to around 5.8K by the end of June. Active users showed a similar pattern, starting at approximately 61K and hitting a low of 45.9K in mid-June, before slightly recovering to 49.3K.

Petrol Spy Australia maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 8.6K in late June. Active users fluctuated significantly, with a peak at over 285K in mid-June, before settling at 228K by the end of the quarter.

The carsales: Buy & Sell Cars app saw consistent weekly downloads, culminating in a peak of 7.6K in the last week of June. Active users remained robust, maintaining numbers above 283K and reaching a high of 355K in early June.

The Z Energy App showed a decline in weekly downloads from 8.5K in late April to 3.9K at the end of June. However, its active users grew steadily, reaching a maximum of 71.4K in late June.

Finally, RACV experienced a steady download rate, peaking at 6.3K in late May. Although active user data was unavailable, the download trends suggest a stable user interest throughout the quarter.
