Top 5 MMORPG Apps on Android in Spain: Q2 2025 Performance

In the second quarter of 2025, the MMORPG genre on the Android platform in Spain showcased intriguing trends, with varying performances among the top five applications. This analysis, based on Sensor Tower data, provides insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends for each app.

ATHENA:Blood Twins from Efun Game Ltd. launched in mid-May, experienced a strong initial performance. Its weekly revenue peaked at around $4K in May's third week, followed by a gradual decline to approximately $1.2K by the end of June. Weekly downloads started at 6.3K and decreased steadily, reaching 700 at the quarter's close. Active users also saw a decline from 4K to just over 1K.

ODIN:VALHALLA RISING by Kakao Games Corp., released in late April, saw a high starting revenue of $11K, which fell to about $3.4K by June’s end. Downloads began at 11K but quickly dropped to just over 100 weekly. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 7.7K and settling at 600.

Ragnarok X: Next Generation from Gravity Game Hub PTE. LTD. showed a positive revenue trend, peaking at nearly $4K in late May. However, downloads and active users diminished over time, with downloads dropping from 4.6K to 244, and active users decreasing from 3.1K to about 1K.

MU: Dark Epoch maintained a relatively stable revenue, hovering around $1.5K throughout the quarter. Downloads began decreasing from 1.2K in early May to 179 by June’s end. Active users peaked at 3.9K mid-quarter before declining to 2.6K.

Albion Online, an older entry from Sandbox Interactive GmbH, showed consistent revenue around the $1.5K mark. Downloads remained modest, fluctuating between 700 and 900. Active users saw a peak of 8K in mid-May before tapering off to 2.5K by the end of June.
